Kaleo internships are a great way to use your skills to work alongside a team as you serve the entire Kaleo project in huge ways! These positions are for students going into their junior or senior year.
VIDEOGRAPHY
The videography position entails creating videos for Kaleo that meet the project’s needs, whether for communication or entertainment purposes. This student will also collaborate with other media and administrative interns to help plan and execute Kaleo programs and events.
PHOTOGRAPHY / SOCIAL MEDIA
The photography/social media intern is responsible for providing all photography needs for Kaleo events, as well as any specific needs for the project throughout the summer. The student will shoot, edit and catalogue their photographs for current and future use. This student will also be responsible for posting on social media and curating a social media plan for the summer. This student will work closely with the other media interns and intern team to ensure coverage of all Kaleo programs and events.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
The graphic design position will create designs and branding for Kaleo programs and resources, as well as for StuMo programs and resources back on campus. The overall aim is to present graphic design materials in a clean, coherent, timely manner that meet the objectives of the Kaleo or on-campus event or resource. This student will also collaborate with the other media and administrative interns when necessary while planning events.
COMMUNICATION
The communications intern will be responsible for aiding project-wide communications through internal and external emails, texts and newsletters. This student will also help with social media platforms. This student will also collaborate with the other media and administrative interns to help execute Kaleo programs and events.
EVENT PLANNING
The event planning position will be responsible for assisting with the planning, preparation and execution of a all major Kaleo events. This student will also collaborate with the other media and administrative interns when necessary while planning events.
ACCOUNTING
The Accounting Intern will be responsible for assisting the Kaleo Administrator with keeping up with the Kaleo budget, project expenses, and other tasks the Kaleo Administrator is responsible for. The intern will be a part of the intern team but will report directly to the Administrator.
PROJECT MANAGER
This internship supports our team behind the scenes by assisting with a variety of administrative and organizational tasks. PM intern helps with internship development, housing coordination, and day-to-day project support, gaining hands-on experience in planning, communication, and operations that keep everything at Kaleo running smoothly.
STUDENT INTERNSHIP LEADER
The Student Internship Lead works alongside the Staff Internship Director to help lead the Kaleo Internship. This position is for students who have previously completed the internship and will be held in addition to their current internship role. Student Internship Leads help support interns, assist with leadership, and invest in the growth and culture of the internship.
